Here we are. The end of 2021. Finally!
Good riddance, right?
You’re probably thinking, “this year has been such a load of crap. What else could go wrong? How much more can I put up with?”
I hear you.
I know this hasn’t been the easiest of years. It’s been a year bogged down in a whole lot of weird, annoying, and horrible things. And it’s easy to focus on all the bad stuff that we’ve been through. It’s easy for those moments to get stuck in our minds, hearts, and souls because they’re the ones with barbs and claws. They cut, they slice, and they hurt. They make us bleed. They leave scars.
But good things DID happen. You might not believe me, but they did.
Did you graduate from a program? Did you make a new friend? Find love? Get married? Have a kid? Get a promotion? Go on vacation? Finish a project?
Did you find time for yourself?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you know it’s true.
And if you still think that things couldn’t get worse – that this year wouldn’t end, well, here we are. We made it.
So I’ll repeat what I’ve said just in case you didn’t hear me the first time. Good things DID happen. And we MADE IT through.
We stand on the verge of breaking into a new year – a whole new world of uncertainty ahead of us. We haven’t a clue what’s waiting ahead; we don’t know what this year will bring. But I promise you this – good things WILL happen next year. For you. For me. For all of us.
So as we head into 2022, remember that there is always something to look forward to. There are, and will be, good things coming!
And with that, let’s start this off right.
Whether you read my blog or not, I wish you ALL a happy, successful, joyful, and productive 2022. I have no doubt that there is something special waiting for you.
Happy New Year!
